Dance Program Redefines the Triple Threat

As a dance student at Point Park University, you engage in rigorous training in state-of-the-art facilities — the George Rowland White Performance Center and Pittsburgh Playhouse — progressing to the highest level of performance in order to achieve success in your career. As a dance major, you can become a triple threat in the dance world as you receive intense training in ballet, jazz and modern dance.

This comprehensive dance program connects classical conservatory training to a forward-thinking dance world, so you are prepared to excel as a professional dancer, choreographer or teacher. Our dance alumni are performing in regional and national dance companies, Broadway shows and tours, as well as creating and performing their own work around the world.

Point Park University is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Dance.
